Jade Florist

Tucked into Anderston, serving the offices nobody thinks to send flowers to.

The verdict

Anderston is Glasgow's least romantic district. Motorway, office blocks, a rebuilt centre. And it needs a florist for exactly that reason. Jade Florist sits on William Street among the commercial buildings west of the M8, and its rhythm is a weekday one: office deliveries, receptions, leaving presents, and the flowers people buy on the way to Central Station.

The work is practical and well-priced. This is not a shop you make a special journey for on a Saturday; it is a shop that is genuinely useful if you work within ten minutes of it, and it fills a gap on the map between the Sauchiehall Street cluster and Finnieston. Ordering is by phone or in person.

Best for

Office deliveries in the western city centre; anything needed at short notice near Central Station.

What I would order

A vase arrangement rather than a wrapped bouquet. Most of what leaves here is going to a desk.

Worth knowing

Weekday-shaped business. Do not assume Sunday opening.

A corporate-adjacent florist in the part of town that only exists on weekdays.

Who it is not for

Weekend buyers and anyone wanting a destination shop. Its rhythm is Monday to Friday and it is honest about that.

How it compares

For weekend browsing nearby, Peony Roses sits further west on Argyle Street.

Getting there

William Street, Anderston; Anderston rail station is minutes away, as is Central Station on foot.
